A new week.

Honestly thought the project for the week would be different but alas, we were told to continue with the blog but to spice it up with graphics.

Apparently, Canva would be our best friend for the week. Not going to lie, this week's project brought on some confusion. Were we meant to write posts along with the graphic content or is it just graphics?

We had to wait to ask questions before we proceeded. So we'd know the right way to go. Luckily, the 8:30pm call on Monday night was enough help. Our questions were answered. The project entailed graphic content and written content.

Having established that fact, we had a meeting to discuss the next step for the week. Last week, while writing our blog posts, we somehow ended making similar content because we chose our topics privately, individually. So to avoid that for this week, we decided that the Assistant team lead would share topics for everyone.

Above is the content calendar created for the week. Was supposed to contain more content but God knows best. This week, we decided to write on the Musis Industry in Nigeria. The topics shared were

• Headies Awards Nominees List 2022: To keep you updated on the categories with their various Nominees, this segment brings you all the information you need. This topic was fun to make. Making various designs for all the categories.

• Music Aristes Celebrity Gist: As it stands, everyone loves a bit of gist every now and then. To know what's going on in their fave artistes lives.

• Nigerian Artistes vs Other African Artistes: There's been a long debate about why Nigerian artistes thrive more than other African artistes. Here, we answer this question.

• Top 10 Songs of the Week: The most listened to songs of the week.

We were asked to drive the blog posts on social media. We had been using WhatsApp status earlier to get readers but now, we'd expand our horizons. So Instagram it was. Blog posts were posted on Instagram story and garnered more traffic. Mission accomplished. 🤝🏼
